CoVise is a venture formation platform operating in the GCC region, headquartered in Saudi Arabia. We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and applicable international standards including GDPR where relevant.

• LinkedIn profile URL
• CV / resume file
• Onboarding responses (user type, industry, venture stage, skills, availability, goals)
• Profile photo (if uploaded)
• Posts, messages, and workspace content you create
• Payment information (when paid plans are introduced)

Data collected automatically

• Device type, browser, operating system
• IP address and approximate location
• Pages visited and time spent on platform
• Actions taken (clicks, searches, matches viewed)
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies
• Google Analytics data (anonymized)

We use your data to:

• Create and manage your account
• Power the co-founder matching algorithm
• Personalize CoVise Advisor recommendations
• Display your profile to relevant matches
• Send you notifications and platform updates
• Improve platform features and performance
• Ensure platform security and prevent fraud
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We share your data only in the following circumstances:

With other users: Your profile information is shown to users you are matched with, subject to your visibility settings.

With service providers: We use trusted third-party services to operate the platform including:

• Railway (hosting and database infrastructure)
• Amazon Web Services S3 (file storage for CVs and documents)
• Google Analytics (anonymized usage analytics)
• Anthropic Claude API (AI advisor functionality)

All providers are bound by data processing agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes.

For legal compliance: We may disclose your data if required by law, court order, or government authority.

Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymized and aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for platform analytics.

Depending on your location, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your data
• Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format

• Regular security reviews

CoVise is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has registered, we will delete their account and data immediately.

Your data may be processed in countries outside Saudi Arabia, including the United States (AWS, Google, Anthropic). We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for all international transfers in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

CoVise Advisor uses your profile data, venture details, and platform activity to generate personalized recommendations. Your conversation data with the AI advisor may be used to improve AI performance unless you opt out in Settings -> CoVise AI Agent.

We do not share your personal data with Anthropic beyond what is necessary to generate your AI responses. Anthropic's data practices are governed by their own privacy policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notification. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of CoVise after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
